Elan joins CHS with a wealth of experience in the out-of-hospital medical space and with years of teaching experience in various disciplines. He has extensive experience with community organisations and the training, development, and mentorship of volunteers.

Prior to CHS, Elan has been a paramedic with NSW Ambulance for many years, which he continues to do as a part-time Intensive Care Paramedic. In addition, Elan has a diverse background and a passion for learning and teaching. He was also previously a simulation trainer with Real Response and spent years learning and teaching martial arts, and working in security operations.
