Dr Sasha Symonds is a Paediatric Emergency Staff Specialist and a Fellow of Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine at Sydney Children’s Hospital. She first undertook her medical training in Adult Emergency Medicine, during which time she worked in trauma units across Australia, Brazil, and Israel. Following this she took up a position at the Children’s Hospital, where she completed her Paediatric specialist letters. Within this role she has also worked in the NSW intensive care retrieval service. Sasha has also worked and trained in medical simulation, setting up workshops and courses to train doctors and nursing staff across the hospital, and is currently an instructor of Paediatric Advanced Life Support Courses delivered across Australia.
